It's very simple! Go to the homepage, enter your departure city, destination and preferred date. Compare offers from different companies, select your trip, choose your seats and proceed to payment via Orange Money or Moov Money. You will receive your e-ticket by SMS.
Tiko accepts payments via Orange Money and Moov Money, the two main mobile money services in Burkina Faso. You will receive a confirmation prompt on your phone during payment. No bank card is required.
Yes, you can cancel your booking from the 'My Trips' section. Cancellation conditions depend on the transport company. Generally, more than 24h before departure gives a 90% refund, between 12h and 24h gives 60%, and between 6h and 12h gives 25%.
After cancelling your booking, the refund is automatically initiated to the mobile money account used during payment. Processing time is typically 24 to 72 business hours.
No, printing is not necessary. Your e-ticket is sent by SMS with a QR code and a unique reference. Simply show the SMS or QR code to the driver at boarding.
Tiko works with the main transport companies in Burkina Faso, including TCV, Rakieta, STAF, TSR, SOGEBAF and many others. Each company is rated and reviewed by travelers.
If the company cancels a trip, you will be immediately notified by SMS. A full refund (100%) will be automatically processed. You can also be redirected to another available trip.
To change the date or time, you must cancel your existing booking and make a new one. We are working on a direct modification feature.
Children under 5 travel free on an adult's lap. Children aged 5-12 get a 25-50% discount depending on the company. From age 12, the full fare applies.
